What if I can’t find the OBD2 port in my vehicle?
If your vehicle does not have an easily accessible OBD2 port, or if the port is located in a hard-to-reach area, you can still use the sunshade with our alternative power solution. The unit is also compatible with a 12V–16V cigarette lighter power connection by using the appropriate adapter cable.
The OBD2 connector itself is standardized, but in some vehicles the port may be hidden, covered, recessed, or positioned differently depending on the model and year. If needed, please check your vehicle manual or contact us with your vehicle model and year, and we will help confirm the best connection method.

Yes. The unit is designed to operate within 12V–16V vehicle electrical systems and is used only as a power source for the motorized sunshade. It does not require modification of your vehicle’s original system. When installed and used correctly, it provides a stable and practical power solution for everyday use.

Not at this time. Our current version is designed for Model 3 and Model Y only. We are actively developing versions for Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck.
