Tesla Model Y Motorized Windshield Sunshade

I'm giving a five-star review for two reasons. When I received the shade, the shipping tube was broken in shipping. This, in turn, had damaged two of the clips that hold the screen fabric to the guide arms, which I only discovered when I was installing and testing it. After some back and forth with Lalo in Customer Support, she asked if I was willing to try using super glue to fix the clips, which would save the time and additional shipping costs of an exchange/replacement. I figured that if the super glue trick didn't work, they were going to replace it, so why not give it a try. I got the super glue out and in about three minutes, I had the clips reattached. I installed the shade according to the installation video and it works flawlessly. And the repair is not noticeable at all. So, FIVE STARS for the product, which will be immensely helpful during the hot summers here in central California. The only negative is that the motor is loud, but not offensively so. (Not enough to drop a star.) The second FIVE STARS goes to Lalo, who was very courteous, replied promptly and was very good about working with me to find the ultimate solution. THANK YOU LALO!

This actually solves the hassle.

I used to dread putting up my old manual shade. This electric version is SO convenient. Works flawlessly and fits perfectly on my Model 3

Feels well made and solid. Installation was pretty straightforward. I’m happy with it.

There was a small accessory missing, which was a little annoying. Customer service responded fast and shipped it out. All good now.

I had to make a few adjustments before I was satisfied with the placement. Now it works for my parking routine and I like the windshield privacy, but the beginning was less plug-and-forget than I expected.

It definitely saves me from handling a folding sunshade every day, which is why I bought it. I just think buyers should expect to spend some time getting the initial setup right before it feels convenient.
