Tesla Model S Motorized Windshield Sunshade

I was tired of folding up a windshield shade every time I got back into the car. This feels much more integrated in my Model S and is easier to use as part of my normal parking routine.

I park outside most weekdays and wanted something I would actually use consistently. The motorized setup makes covering the windshield much less of a chore.

The installed setup looks neat and does not feel like a random universal accessory. I mainly use it for sun coverage while parked and have been happy with it.

I did not buy it specifically for privacy, but that ended up being one of the benefits I notice most. The front of the cabin feels less exposed when I am sitting in the car during a break.

This is much easier for me than reaching across the dash with a removable shade. I deploy it when I park and retract it before driving, and that has become pretty automatic.

I was concerned the hardware might make the front cabin look cluttered. Once everything was positioned correctly, it looked cleaner than I expected.

My Model S spends a lot of time in uncovered parking. I like having the windshield covered without needing to carry a separate shade around in the car.

We used it several times during stops on a recent road trip. It was convenient for keeping the front windshield covered while we were parked for food and breaks.

The biggest improvement for me is not having a large folding shade sitting on a seat or in the trunk. This stays with the car and is ready when I need it.
