Choose a vehicle configuration and corresponding light option that match each other. Production changes can affect connectors, trim routing, power behavior, and trunk layout, so compare the supplied harness and installation location before connecting power.

Supplier-listed operation

The supplier describes a plug-in LED system using a vehicle power connection. Automatic sensing is listed only for the applicable Model Y configuration. Connector type, power draw, control behavior, brightness, and RGB functions have not been independently verified.

Electrical installation

Switch off the relevant vehicle circuit and follow verified installation instructions before connecting or routing the harness. Professional automotive-electronics installation is recommended if trim removal, unfamiliar connectors, or power wiring is involved.

Route and secure every cable away from trunk hinges, latches, seals, weather drains, sharp edges, moving trim, cargo contact points, airbags, and high-voltage components. Do not cut, splice, probe, or tap vehicle wiring unless the verified instructions explicitly require it. Never substitute a connector or fuse rating.

Test before use

While parked, confirm normal trunk opening and closing, latch operation, factory lighting, sleep behavior, charging behavior, warning messages, and automatic activation where applicable. Stop using the kit if lights remain on unexpectedly, flicker, become hot, smell unusual, drain the battery, trigger a warning, or affect any vehicle function.

Keep lighting dim enough to avoid glare or distraction, and do not adjust RGB settings while driving.

NEVRANO is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0812/5274/5435/files/teser-trunk-ambient-lighting-for-model-3-highland-new-model-y-355829.jpg?v=1789726201
